As the weather gets colder please remember to put your childs name in the jackets, mittens, hats, and boots.  These items often get left and can be returned quickly if we know who they belong to.
Please bring in  snow pants soon.

First grade is a year of magic. It is a year of tremendous change and growth. Typically, children enter the first grade with a rough understanding  of a long list of skills, reading, writing, basic math skills, social awareness. By the end of first grade, their exposure and experience wit these academic concepts becom more sophisticated, becomes deeper. They leave first grade as reader, authors, mathematicians, and scientists. They leave first grade well prepared for the rest of their academic journey.

This website is design for you. Together we can accomplish quite a bit in the classroom, but the educational experience becomes much more meaningful and lasting when reinforced at home. There will be opportunities to come into teh classroom and witness the childrens work, or possibly share something of your own. We would like to include you in our work here, making it all that much more important for the children.
